ETFE material or Ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer is a chemical substance, which is the strongest fluoroplastic while maintaining the good heat resistance, chemical resistance, and electrical insulation properties of PTFE, ETFE has great radiation resistance and mechanical properties. The degree of improvement, the tensile strength can reach 50MPa, close to 2 times that of PTFE.
Storage & Transportation
ETFE product should be stored in cool ventilated place and away from fire source andheat source. ETFE should also be prevented against moisture and sunshine, kept in upright positionand handled with great care. Once opened, unused product should be repacked to avoid any dust or contamination.

Precautions for ETFE powder
When dealing with ETFE powder for deep processing, operators must wear protectiveclothand mask to avoid potential safety hazards, such as inhalation of dust and toxic gas, or hurt by high temperature. No open flame and smoking in workplace. Exhaust devices shouldbeinstalled.

ETFE pellet is usually used in wire insulation, sheath wire, tubing, plates, thin film, etc.

When dealing with ETFE pellet for deep processing, operators must strictly control processing technic. ETFE pellet processing temperature should not be kept no more than 350degree. Wear protective cloth and mask to avoid potential safety hazards, such as inhalationof dust and toxic gas, or hurt by high temperature. The workplace should be tidy and ventilated. ETFE pellet product waste must be handled properly following local laws and regulations.
