PTFE Powder (Products include PTFE Molding Powder, PTFE Fine Powder, and PTFE Micro Powder now) or PTFE, commonly known as “Plastic King,” is a high molecular polymer obtained by polymerizing tetrafluoroethylene as a monomer.

Its chemical formula is (C2F4)n, and it has excellent heat and cold resistance and can be used for a long time at -180~260ºC. This material is resistant to acid, alkali, and various organic solvents and is almost insoluble in all solvents.

At the same time, PTFE has high-temperature resistance characteristics, and its coefficient of friction is extremely low, so it can be used not only for lubrication but also as an ideal coating for the inner layer of water pipes that are easy to clean.

Application field

1. Used in the electrical industry, used as the insulation layer of power supply and signal lines in aerospace, aviation, electronics, instrumentation, computer, and other sectors, corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant materials can be used to make films, tube-sheet rods, bearings, gaskets, valves and Chemical pipelines, pipe fittings, equipment container linings, etc;

2. Used in electrical appliances, the chemical industry, aviation, machinery, and other fields instead of quartz glass vessels, used in ultra-pure chemical analysis and storage in atomic energy, medicine, semiconductor, and other industries.
Various acids, alkalis, and organic solvents can be made into high-insulation electrical parts, High-frequency resistant wire and cable sheaths, corrosion-resistant chemical containers, high-cold-resistant oil pipelines, artificial organs, etc., can be used as additives for plastics, rubber, paints, inks, lubricating oils, greases, etc;
